Meet Scot

Experience that
moves Edina forward

At a time of transition in city leadership, experience matters. With a decade of service on the City Council, Scot Housh provides the balanced leadership, institutional knowledge, and thoughtful vision needed to preserve what makes Edina special and prepare for the opportunities ahead.

Beyond City Hall

Rooted in the community

Scot's commitment to Edina runs deeper than a decade on the council. An Edina West graduate (Class of 1980), he went on to earn a BA in Political Science from Brown University and built a 38-year career as an insurance and risk management executive.

He and his wife, Susie, have been married 39 years and raised four children here in Edina, where they are now proud grandparents. Across three decades he has volunteered his time to Edina's schools, parks, hospital, and youth sports — the deep community roots that shape how he approaches public service.
